Achievement Behavior Servies (ABS) is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work in-home with children in New Jersey. You will be supervised by a BCBA and implement ABA strategies to improve communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors.

The role emphasizes one-on-one support, progress documentation, and collaborative training opportunities, with a flexible after-school schedule and potential weekend work.

• Experience working with pre-school and elementary school-aged children.
• Strong and multi-tiered stakeholder communication skills.

• Exhibits professional administrative reliability: punctuality and responsiveness.
• Proven experience with documenting progress notes and data points aligning with individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Intuitive, engaging, compassionate, and person-centered approaches.
• Preferred: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate.

• Engaging rapport building and curiosity to find creative solutions to help a student more effectively communicate their needs, wants, and feelings.
• Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition of student's progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• 1:1 Goal-oriented, in home, direct service work with a student involving implementation of ABA approaches including but not limited to discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements, and reward-systems.
• Thorough and comprehensive session-to-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.
• Actively engaging with clinical direction and professional feedback from BCBA supervisor(s)
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients or students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers
