Job summary

Achievement Behavior Servies (ABS) is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work with children in home settings under the supervision of a BCBA. The role emphasizes building rapport, implementing ABA strategies, and documenting progress as part of individualized plans.

You will collaborate with BCBA-level leaders in our ABA Professionals Network, pursue credentials like RBT, and benefit from personalized supervision and flexible scheduling to fit after-school hours and possible weekends.

Qualifications

• Fields of study include ABA, psychology, special education, OT or SLP.
• Preferred: Active RBT certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Strong multi-stakeholder communication skills.
• Adaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situations.
• Reliable and punctual administrative performance.
• Experience with preschool and elementary-aged children.
• Experience with autism and developmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Engage in 1:1 home-based ABA sessions to support a student’s communication and adaptive skills.
• Document progress notes, data points, and task data per the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Implement ABA techniques (DTT, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcement).
• Maintain thorough session-to-session documentation and billing.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisor for clinical direction and feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
