Achievement Behavior Servies (ABS) is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children in their home setting, supervised by a BCBA. You will implement ABA strategies to support communication, focus, and positive behavior change.

This role offers flexible after-school hours, potential weekend work, collaborative guidance from BCBA leaders, and opportunities to pursue the Registered Behavior Technician credential with ongoing training and supervision.

Qualifikationen

• Study areas include ABA, psychology, special education, OT, and SLP.
• Active RBT certification preferred.
• Strong multi-stakeholder communication skills.
• Adaptability under high-stress situations.
• Proven experience with preschool and elementary children.
• Experience with autism and developmental issues.
• NY State requirements may apply.
• Intuitive, engaging, and person-centered approaches.
• Experience documenting progress notes and data aligned with plans.

Aufgaben

• Engage in rapport building and creative solutions to help a student communicate.
• Measure and document skill acquisition per BIP.
• 1:1 in-home direct service work implementing ABA approaches.
• Document sessions, analyze data, and handle billing.
• Receive clinical direction and feedback from BCBA supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
