Achievement Behavior Servies provides one-on-one, in-home ABA therapy for children with ASD under the supervision of a BCBA. As a Behavior Technician, you will implement the BIP, support communication and adaptive behaviors in the child’s natural home setting, and collaborate with a BCBA for ongoing guidance.

You will join a team that values compassionate, person-centered care, with opportunities for growth and ongoing professional training in ABA.

Qualifications

• Most Relevant Areas of Study: ABA, psychology, special education, OT, SLP.
• Preferred: Active RBT certificate from the BACB.
• Strong multi-stakeholder communication skills.
• Adaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situations.
• Professional reliability: punctuality and responsiveness.
• Experience with pre-school and elementary children.
• Additional NY State requirements and credentials as needed.
• Intuitive, compassionate, person-centered approaches.

Responsabilités

• Engage in rapport building and creative solutions to help communication.
• Measure and document skill progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• 1:1 in-home direct service using ABA approaches (DTT, prompting, modeling, redirection).
• Maintain thorough session-to-session documentation and data analysis.
• Receive clinical direction and feedback from BCBA supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
