Job summary

Achievement Behavior Servies is an NY-based ABA agency providing in-home and community ABA therapy for children with ASD. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one in the child’s home under the supervision of a BCBA to implement the individualized Behavior Intervention Plan, helping the student improve communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors.

Qualifications

• ABA, psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or related study areas preferred.
• Active RBT certification preferred.
• Strong communication with multiple stakeholders required.
• Ability to stay calm under stress and adapt.
• Punctual and reliable administrative skills.
• Experience with pre-school and elementary children.
• Experience documenting progress notes aligned with treatment plans.
• Intuitive, compassionate, and person-centered approaches.

Responsibilities

• Engage in rapport building and creative solutions to help the student communicate needs, wants, and feelings.
• Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• 1:1 in-home direct service with ABA approaches (DTT, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements).
• Maintain thorough session documentation, data analysis, and billing.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisor(s) for clinical direction and feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
