Job summary

Achievement Behavior Servies is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with a child in their home environment under the supervision of a BCBA. The role involves implementing ABA strategies to increase communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors.

You will document progress, measure skill acquisition, and collaborate with BCBA staff to adjust treatment plans. The position offers part-time hours, after-school availability, and potential weekend work based on family needs.

Qualifications

• Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, Special education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology.
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate is preferred.
• Strong multi-tiered stakeholder communication skills required.
• Adaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situations.
• Proven experience with documenting progress notes and data points.

Responsibilities

• Engaging rapport building and curiosity to help a student communicate their needs, wants, and feelings.
• Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• 1:1 goal-oriented, in-home direct service work implementing ABA techniques.
• Thorough session-to-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.
• Engage with BCBA supervision and accept clinical direction feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients/students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
