Job summary

Achievement Behavior Servies in New York is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with ASD in their home or community settings. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, following individualized BIPs to promote communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors.

This part-time, after-school role offers flexible schedules and the potential for weekend hours based on family needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with pre-school and elementary children.
• Active RBT certificate preferred.
• Strong communication with stakeholders required.
• Adaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situations.
• Punctuality and responsiveness in administrative tasks.
• Document progress notes and data points aligned with treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 in-home direct service; implement ABA approaches including DTT, prompting, modeling, redirection, and rewards.
• Measure and document skill acquisition and progress on BIP.
• Maintain thorough session-to-session documentation and data analysis.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisor(s) and respond to clinical feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members.
