Job summary

Penn State Pegula Ice Arena is seeking a part-time Team Leader to assist in managing day-to-day operations and support the full-time operations manager. You will help oversee on- and off-ice programming and supervise part-time staff daily.

The position emphasizes leadership, guest service, and staff mentorship, with responsibilities spanning opening/closing, POS operations, event coordination, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for six hours.
• Able to work nights and weekends year-round.
• Open to students and non-students alike.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the facility with security walkthroughs and reporting.
• Operate the point-of-sale software, ring up sales, and check guests in.
• Oversee front-of-house programming and events with staff placement.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address guest questions or concerns.
• Mentor and train part-time staff.
