Job summary

Medxcel is seeking a part-time Facilities role at the Milwaukee Campus, supporting Columbia St/Mary's Hospital with HVAC systems and related facilities operations.

The position runs 3pm-7pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility. You will inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment, coordinate with staff, and participate in safety and training activities. Pro-rated PTO and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification (level II preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of trade school.
• 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and follows safety protocols with PPE.
• Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures building and safety regulations compliance, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe condition.
• Dedicates 20% of time to meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects.

License:

Must have one or more of the following:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of trade school.

Work Experience:

• 3 years of related experience.
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
