Job summary

Medxcel is seeking an experienced facilities technician in Milwaukee, WI, to install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and energy systems at the Colmbia St. Mary's Milwaukee Campus.

You will respond to after-hours emergencies, coordinate with teams, and contribute to safety compliance while leading training and acting as SME for facilities stakeholders. Requires EPA license and 5 years' experience in HVAC or related field.

Qualifications

• Universal EPA License required.
• 5 years' experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of trade school.
• Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and strictly follows safety protocols using PPE.
• Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Dedicates 20% of the role to participating in meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
• Leads training and department orientation and serves as Subject Matter Expert for facilities stakeholders.

Education

Universal EPA License
