Medxcel is seeking a Facilities Technician for the St. Vincent Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on maintaining and repairing HVAC, energy systems, and related infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies and follows safety protocols with PPE.
• Coordinates with personnel on work orders and ensures compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Dedicates 20% of time to meetings, training workshops, and special projects.
