Job summary

Ain Dah Yung Our Home Center is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist in Saint Paul, MN. This role provides 25 hours per week of HR support, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leaves, and employee records, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

You will assist with HR audits, document maintenance, and employee relations support, escalating complex matters as needed. Paylocity experience is a plus, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of broad human resources generalist experience.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave administration, employee records, and HR information systems.
• Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment activities: postings, screening, interview coordination, offers, background checks, pre-employment requirements.
• Manage onboarding in Paylocity and ensure all forms are completed.
• Manage offboarding and HRIS updates for employee records.
• Administer benefit programs including open enrollment and life event changes.
• Track and support employee leaves (FMLA, paid leave) and related processes.
• Assist with payroll review by checking payroll-related changes and deductions (not payroll processing).
• Maintain confidential personnel files and HRIS information.
