Ideal candidates hold an associate degree and have at least two years of HR or recruiting experience, with knowledge of relevant laws.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in human resources or recruiting.
• Associates degree in HR, business admin, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of personnel administration laws for senior living settings.
• Commitment to serving residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, screening, and interviewing applicants for open positions.
• Refer candidates to department heads for second interviews.
• Check applications and references for prospective employees.
• Conduct employee background checks per facility policy.
• Assist with developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain job descriptions and performance evaluations in line with laws.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and proper records.
• Ensure compliance with wages, overtime and benefits regulations.
• Orient new personnel to policies and payroll procedures.
• Collaborate with staff to recruit, select and train personnel.
