Job summary

Bentwater is seeking an Human Resources Assistant for a 20-hour-per-week position in Wisconsin. The role acts as a liaison between management and employees, handles confidential personnel records, and supports HR activities from onboarding to benefits communications.

• Experience handling employment applications and background checks.
• Ability to draft offer letters per policy handbook.
• Maintain confidential employee files and HR records.
• Support HR events, onboarding and internal communications.

Responsibilities

• Process applications for employment including background verification.
• Draft and finalize offer letters for management review.
• Research wage and salary market information as needed.
• Maintain employee personnel files and respond to inquiries.
• Assist in scheduling interviews and reference checks.
• Support onboarding of new employees and HR projects.
• Participate in EH&S program and Safety Committee activities.
