Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Dallas Medical / Market Center is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests during check-in/check-out, handle reservations, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will use Opera PMS to process transactions, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, offer local recommendations, keep the lobby tidy, and follow IHG brand standards.

Flexible availability including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 to 6 months of customer service or hotel experience preferred.
Friendly, dependable, and professional with excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel systems.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests during check-in and check-out with a friendly, professional attitude.
Answer phones and assist with reservations, questions, and guest requests.
Process reservations, payments, and guest transactions accurately.
Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
Maintain accurate records using Opera PMS and other hotel systems.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
Share recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and events.
Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and IHG brand standards.
