Job summary

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Culinary Arts, Baking/Pastry, Hospitality Management or equivalent from an accredited school.
• Three years experience in the field.
• Current ServSafe Manager or Texas Certified Food Manager certification for lab instructors.
• Three years of full-time, verifiable supervisory experience in the hospitality field may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses at varied times and locations to meet institutional need.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
• Teach online and/or dual-credit/early college courses as needed.
• Plan course instruction with approved syllabus/outline to meet objectives.
• Use diverse teaching styles to accommodate varied learning styles and maintain records (gradebook, census, transcripts).
