Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.

Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Reading, English, Counseling or Psychology) and teaching experience at the high school or college level are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Reading, English, Counseling or Psychology.
• Teaching experience at the high school or college level.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
• Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
• Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.
