Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking qualified applicants for a Culinary Arts Instructor Pool in Continuing Education. This is a continuous recruitment for part-time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as-needed basis.

• Five (5) years related work experience.
• Ability to plan course instruction based on syllabus/outline and meet course objectives.
• Ability to use diverse teaching styles to accommodate learning needs.
• Ability to use instructional technologies and media.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skill and knowledge in teaching the Culinary Arts discipline.
• Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations as needed.
• Develop and use teaching materials to meet course outcomes.
• Maintain syllabus, attendance rosters, and input final grades into WebDMC.
• Promote student success and managing class environment.
