Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct PT services under the supervision of a physical therapist and physician's plan of care. You will help residents maintain maximum function and independence across our continuing care community.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy, a valid PT license and CPR certification, with 1+ year of experience preferred. Covenant Living offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• PT license and CPR certification required by state.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Treat patients to relieve pain and restore function.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility training.
• Document patient progress in the clinical record.
• Participate in home care team meetings and inservice education.
