Job summary

Amedisys is hiring an Occupational Therapist for Part Time Days to deliver OT services in patients' homes across Georgia. You will follow physician-approved plans, ensure safety and effectiveness, and document promptly while supporting the care team.

Mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are included. Requirements include an ACOTE/AOTA-accredited OT program, current state license, NBCOT eligibility/completion, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of ACOTE/AOTA-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take or completed NBCOT certification exam.
• At least one year related OT experience; mentoring if less.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under physician-approved plan of care.
• Address problems identified in assessments within the plan of care.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
