Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver home-based OT services across our Southeast Valley territory. You will implement and monitor physician-approved plans of care, ensuring safety and effectiveness while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program graduate.
• Eligible for NBCOT entry-level certification exam.
• One year of OT experience or regional clinical leaders' approval for less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses all problems identified in assessment.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
