Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Williamston area, with scheduling: Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-12:30am, Tuesday & Thursday 11am-3pm. Excellent pay!!!

The home health aide role includes direct patient care, personal hygiene assistance, transfers, and companionship, following the Plan of Care and documenting in the EVV system. Light housekeeping and accurate record-keeping are expected.

Qualifications

Maintain DFS certification.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Excellent reading, writing and communication abilities.
Able to perform physical tasks including lifting.
Sympathetic attitude toward caring for the sick.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care as assigned.
Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising clinicians.
Prepare meals considering client dietary needs.
Provide companionship and engage in activities.
Perform light housekeeping as directed.
Maintain complete and accurate records as required by the agency.
Record and report changes in client’s condition.
Adhere to the Plan of Care and EVV time entries.
Never administer medications.
