RFCUNY is seeking a Part-Time Math Tutor to support high school students at Clara Barton HS and Aspirations Diploma Plus HS in Brooklyn as part of the Liberty Partnerships Program. The tutor will provide focused math instruction, aligned to NYS Regents, and assist with homework and exam preparation.

The role emphasizes educational equity and student growth, with collaboration among teachers and counselors. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience tutoring or teaching is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality math tutoring to high school students individually or in small groups.
• Align tutoring with NYS Regents content (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry) and provide homework help.
• Facilitate exam preparation for NYS Regents, SAT math sections, and final exams.
• Create an inclusive learning environment and track student progress with attendance and milestones.
• Coordinate with teachers, counselors, and staff to address student needs.
