Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a part-time Installer/Trainer to visit customers in their homes in Wilmington, DE, and teach use of CaptionCall phones. The role supports independent work with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and experience with hearing health and working with seniors. Travel is less than 25% with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English through reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Customer service orientation and flexibility for home visits.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Basic computer knowledge and comfort with devices used in installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service to clients.
• Create lead generation activities and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in events as assigned.
• Maintain customer records and submit reports as required.
