Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a caring, customer service oriented Installer/Trainer to empower customers with hearing loss to use CaptionCall phones. This hands-on role trains customers in their homes and supports local events.

The position is part-time with a flexible schedule and travel under 25%. A High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and sales experience are required; evening/weekend availability is a plus, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Sales experience and experience in hearing health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead generation activities and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Guide other CaptionCall activities and make recommendations for expanding reach.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates for local installations and events.
• Complete service calls as assigned.
• Accurately maintain customer records.
• Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Retrieve and clean phones of former customers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies to service customers.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
