Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a part-time Installer/Trainer to help customers in Tuscaloosa, AL. You will install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones, and train users in their homes, helping them stay connected with loved ones and the world.

The role offers a flexible, independent schedule with travel under 25% and potential for growth. Prior experience in hearing health is helpful, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Reliable, organized and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service to customers.
• Create lead generation activities and referrals.
• Attend trade shows and corporate events as assigned.
• Recruit and refer Installer/Trainer candidates to support local work.
• Complete service calls and maintain customer records.
• Submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
