Carilion Clinic is seeking a part-time Scribe at the Lexington facility. The Scribe will accompany physicians, document in real time, and transcribe exam details and lab results to keep the medical record current.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and 1–2 years in healthcare settings. Strong typing and communication skills, plus familiarity with medical terminology, are essential.

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience working with the public in a healthcare setting.

Responsabilidades

• Accompanies a physician through patient care duties and updates the medical record in real time.
• Transcribes exam details and lab/imaging results for physician review.
• Documents procedures performed by physicians and other care team members.
• May assist in initiating pages to consultants.
• Masters the EPIC EMR and PACS imaging system.
