Lexington Clinic in Lexington, KY is seeking a Clinical Scribe to accurately document office visits in the electronic medical record under the supervision of a nurse or physician. The role supports patient care with timely, precise charting and clerical assistance.

This full-time, hourly position requires medical terminology, fast typing (55 wpm), data entry experience, and excellent communication. You will interact with patients and staff in a busy ENT clinic setting at Nicholasville Road.

Formación

• Formal training indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology knowledge required.
• Typing speed of at least 55 wpm; experience with computers/data entry.
• Experience working with the public; ability to maintain composure in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication and neat appearance.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately and completely document office visits into the EMR as dictated by the provider.
• Perform patient-oriented tasks under supervision of a nurse or physician.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, family members and colleagues; assist with routine clerical procedures.
