Job summary

The Wright Center for Community Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support clinicians by transcribing history and physical exams, procedures, and patient data into the electronic medical record. The role requires HIPAA compliance, strong typing, and accurate documentation.

You will accompany providers in exam rooms, assist in chart completion, and maintain patient privacy and security while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CMS Certification preferred.
• Current BLS Certificate required.
• Experience in healthcare (1-3 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes patient history and physical exams as dictated by the provider.
• Transcribes procedures performed by the provider.
• Sign off and date all entries identifying the Scribe's role.
• Assist in chart completion and tracking lab/x-ray results.
