Job summary

BAYADA is hiring a Habilitation Technician in Burlington, NC to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence and confidence. The role emphasizes meaningful daily interactions, advocacy, and assisting with personal care in a community setting.

The position offers flexible part-time schedules with $15.00-$16.00 per hour, weekly pay, and opportunities for training and growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

What You'll Do as a Habilitation Technician:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

• $15.00-$16.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Flexible part-time schedules
• Multiple shifts available
• Work close to home
