Job summary

BAYADA in Ruffin, NC is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help them participate in community activities, build confidence, and work toward independence in a caring, team-oriented environment.

This part-time role offers weekday and weekend shifts, pay $15.00-$16.00 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits including health, PTO, 401(k) and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.
• CNA experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

What You'll Do as a Special Needs Caregiver:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events

• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

• $15.00-$16.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
