Job summary

Davis Center at the Harlem Meer in New York City seeks a Guest Services Team Member to welcome guests and provide information about programs and offerings. Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of ages.
• Detail-oriented and guest-service focused.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
• Respectful and friendly to athletes, guests, visitors, spectators and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and way finding as needed.
• Register guests and process payments for leagues, camps, clinics, drop-ins, etc.
• Operate multi-line phones.
• Record waivers and event information.
• Record event scores and print game sheets daily.
• Balance drawers and reconcile cash boxes per procedure.
• Enforce venue policies and professionally resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and team member information.
• Complete daily assignments and other duties as assigned.
