Job summary

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) invites applications for the part-time Usher position in Nashville, TN. You will support front-of-house operations to ensure a positive guest experience and safety during performances.

Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and comfortable engaging with the public; weekend evenings are required, and onboarding includes training shifts. This role reports to the Director of Guest Services and supports accessibility services and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Availability for 4 shifts in a 2-week period, with 4-hour minimum per shift.
• Daily email access.
• Professional, neat presentation.
• Enjoys working with the public.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, assists with seating and ticket taking.
• Supports Guest Services Management and Accessible Services Team.
• Educates guests on venue and event policies, internally and per event requirements.
• Maintains safety protocols and promptly reports safety concerns.
