Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group & Ryman Hospitality Properties in Austin seeks an Usher to verify tickets and guide guests to seating. You will distribute programs and help keep the venue clean during events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous guest service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and guest-focused approach.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Scan and verify tickets for entry.
• Provide seating directions at points of entry.
• Distribute show programs and handouts as required.
• Assist with crowd management and maintain order in seating areas.
• Address disruptive guests and report issues to leadership as needed.
• Respond to guest concerns and take corrective action when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility before, during, and after shows.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of chairs and seating configurations.
• Report maintenance concerns to venue management.
• May assist with post-show tours.
• Support emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and brand SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
