Job summary

Cedar Springs Therapeutic Ranch in Slinger, WI seeks a part-time Groundskeeper and General Maintenance person. Responsibilities include mowing, weed control, paddock care, hole maintenance and light repairs, with volunteer coordination. Hours range 10–20 per week; background check required; weekend/holiday availability may be needed.

Experience with small engines is a plus, and the role involves operating power tools and large machinery. Must lift 50 lbs and work with a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Part-time schedule: 10–20 hours per week.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Weekend and/or holiday availability as needed.
• Experience with small engines/repairs is a plus.
• Self-starter who can work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Mow grounds weekly or as needed.
• Weed control in paddocks and outside paddocks.
• Maintain clean paddocks and shelters with volunteers.
• Train volunteers to help complete jobs.
• Assist with hay as needed.
• Trim trees/weeds on trails and Ranch leased property.
• Snow removal and post-plow cleanup.
• Apply salt to needed areas.
• Maintain fencing and gates (electric and non-electric).
• Check fencing for issues and fix as needed.
• Keep outdoor areas neat and organized.
• Assist in keeping back barn area neat and organized.
• Replace lights inside and out.
• Work on maintenance projects.
• Maintain equipment and perform small engine repairs.
• Drag the arena weekly and keep sand off wall sides.
• Reports to Barn Manager and Executive Director.
