Job summary

Baltic Food Distributing in Countryside, IL seeks a motivated Part-Time Outside Sales Representative to manage existing grocery accounts, grow sales, and develop new business throughout the Chicago area.

Responsibilities include visiting stores, building relationships with buyers, presenting promotions, taking orders, and expanding the sales territory through cross-selling and new accounts.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, especially in food, beverage, grocery, wholesale, CPG, or outside sales.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Must have Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for orders and sales reporting

Responsibilities

• Visit existing grocery stores and independent retail accounts
• Build relationships with store managers and department buyers
• Present new products, promotions, and pricing
• Take orders and follow up with customers
• Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and new product placements
• Identify and open new grocery and specialty food accounts
• Monitor product placement and sales opportunities
• Maintain an organized customer visit schedule and report sales activity
