Job summary

Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a part-time cook to join our busy kitchen. You will prepare lunch and/or dinners, cook on roasting ovens and grills, and help ensure timely, high-quality meals.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma, some culinary training or on-the-job experience, and a Food Service Sanitation Certificate within 30 days of hire. You should be able to follow menus and recipes and work well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary institute or related training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with quantity food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow menus and recipes.
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate due within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lunch and/or dinners.
• Prepare menu items on roasting ovens, and grills.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food.
• Ensure that all food procedures are followed.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines.
