Job summary

Bolay in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Grill/Oven Chef to join our kitchen team. You will work with roasting ovens and grills, plan meals with leadership, review menus, and ensure all food procedures are followed to uphold quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other departments, assisting with food purchases and inventory, maintaining sanitation guidelines, and learning new menu items. 1+ year of food preparation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Culinary institute or formal training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of food preparation experience required.
• Experience with quantity food preparation preferred.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meal planning in conjunction with Leadership.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food.
• Assure that all food procedures are followed.
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary.
• Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines.
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes.
