Job summary

The Oklahoma Arts Council is seeking a detail-oriented, service-minded individual to support statewide community arts and workforce programs. The role focuses on grants, rural outreach, and program administration, coordinating communications between applicants, grantees, and staff.

This is a part-time, temporary position reporting to the Director of Community Arts and Workforce Programs, with an hourly rate of $27.00 and approximately 15-20 hours per week. No additional benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong organization, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, and event logistics.
• Ability to explain processes and guide users through online systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support for grant-related activities.
• Assist with applicant and contact lists and follow-up communications.
• Coordinate grant-related scheduling, site visits, and meetings.
• Support Leadership Arts, Oklahoma Arts Conference, and other statewide programs.
