Job summary

The Oklahoma Arts Council is seeking an organized Arts Education Coordinator to support arts education and community learning programs, including the Oklahoma Creative Aging Initiative. This part-time role reports to the Arts Learning in Communities Director and involves administrative tasks, logistics, and grant coordination.

Responsibilities include assisting staff, managing contracts and invoices, travel bookings, and data gathering for storytelling.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain processes and guide users through forms, deadlines, and online systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and records with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic and administrative support to Arts Education staff.
• Provide information on OAC arts education programs and coordinate logistics.
• Book travel, prepare contracts/invoices, and manage related administrative tasks.
• Gather data, photos, quotes, and documentation for program storytelling and reporting.
