Montway Auto Transport in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a part-time corporate counsel to provide legal guidance across contracts, compliance, and risk management. The role offers 20–30 hours per week with a potential transition to full-time.

You will represent the company in various courts if needed, draft and negotiate agreements, advise on regulatory changes, and coordinate with HR, operations, and outside counsel to minimize exposure.

Formación

• J.D. degree and bar admission required.
• 3–5 years of legal experience preferred.
• Experience with transportation industry preferred.
• Strong writing and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Represent company in state, federal, and appellate courts when needed.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Manage outside counsel and litigation discovery.
• Coordinate with HR and operations on policy matters.
• Support M&A and corporate transactions as needed.
• Assist insurance and risk management.
