Go Fractional seeks a Fractional General Counsel to provide strategic legal leadership across litigation, contracts, compliance, and risk for multiple clients. The role emphasizes efficient, business-friendly guidance and hands-on management of matters with outside counsel.

Estimated 20–30 hours per week with potential to transition to full-time. Based in Schaumburg, IL, with flexible scheduling and close collaboration with operations, sales, and HR.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed Illinois attorney in good standing.
• 3-5 years of legal experience preferred; transportation or SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Represent the company in state, federal, and appellate courts in Illinois as needed.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts with vendors, customers, and partners.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage litigation discovery, filings, and settlements.
• Support M&A, corporate, and administrative matters as required.
