Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Muscatine, IA is hiring a security/gate attendant for a 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 8:30 pm Sun; 2:00 pm – 9:30 pm Mon/Tue/Wed), approx 30 hours weekly at $19.00/hour.

You will greet guests, verify purchases, and complete a security round of the pickup yard. You will stay in radio contact with store staff and request assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be minimum 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from the job site on time to begin shift.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Be eligible for security licensing through the State of Iowa, with no disqualifying convictions on a background screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they come into the pick-up area and direct them where to locate their purchases if necessary.
• Confirm guests have the correct items and amounts purchased upon exiting.
• At close of business, conduct a security round of the pick-up yard.
• Stay in radio communication with store employees and management.
• Request assistance with issues that arise beyond the scope of your duties.
