Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a full-time security officer for a temporary assignment in Dubuque, Iowa. The overnight shift runs from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, Friday through Monday, totaling approximately 48 hours at $20 per hour plus overtime.

All new hires will undergo a one-day orientation and training at our Davenport, IA corporate location. Candidates must meet licensing and background requirements and be willing to obtain state security licensure with our assistance.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver\'s license, with no disqualifying violations on a motor vehicle report within the last 5 years.
• Consent to a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle check, and criminal background check.
• Meet eligibility requirements for a state security license. We will assist in obtaining one for those that qualify.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile rounds with company vehicle at client\'s business site to deter and prevent trespassing and theft.
• Ensure that only those that are authorized to do so, remove property from site.
• Report criminal activities to site personnel and the proper authorities.
