Alteration Specialists is seeking a part-time Operations Associate to support day-to-day garment operations, inventory, and showroom readiness in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in tracking garments, quality checks, and timely movement between clients, clothiers, showroom, and tailoring teams. Previous retail or operations experience is a plus in a high-touch custom clothing setting.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable using CRM systems and basic tech.
• Experience in retail, apparel, operations, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and process inbound/outbound garments, incl. steaming, labeling, storage, QC.
• Manage garment shipments, labels, tracking, and shipping issues.
• Maintain garment records in CRM; conduct regular inventory audits and monitor aging garments.
• Coordinate weekly fabric outs by reviewing vendor updates and identifying unavailable swatches.
• Coordinate garment check-ins from alteration partners; arrange pickups and deliveries; ensure timely handoffs.
