Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking an experienced tailoring associate to perform standard alterations and garment fittings in-store. You will maintain quality finishes, operate sewing equipment, and support customer consultations as needed.

The role requires precise execution, strong time management, and the ability to work at least 20 hours per week, with duties spanning inventory support and front-of-house assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, count, and write to complete required documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Experience with tailoring alterations and garment fittings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations (hem, waist, seat, rise, taper, sleeves, seams) per guidelines.
• Maintain 60 minutes of productive alteration work per hour.
• Ensure high-quality finishes, clean stitches, and pressed garments.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and tools properly stored.
• Assist with inventory management and replenishment as needed.
• Support front-of-house tasks and customer consultations when directed.
• Operate sewing machines and tailoring equipment with precision.
• Follow detailed instructions and document work accurately.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift as needed.
