Job summary

Tailor Shop Production & Operations is seeking a skilled tailor to perform standard alterations and ensure high-quality finishes. You will hem, taper, and adjust garments, press them to a clean finish, and keep a tidy, well-organized workspace.

You will assist with inventory and support front-of-house tasks as needed. Customer consultations will guide garment fit recommendations, and you will deliver an exceptional experience by listening to client needs and offering personalized solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience performing alterations with quality finishes.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and multiple steps.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Proficiency with tailoring equipment.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to read, count, and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations including hems, waist/seat, rise, tapering, and sleeve adjustments.
• Press garments to a clean, crisp finish.
• Maintain organized work area and proper storage of tools.
• Assist inventory management and restock tailoring supplies.
• Support front-of-house tasks and assist customers.
• Participate in customer consultations and advise on garment fit.
