Job summary

The Floor Supervisor position at AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas is on an event-by-event basis. Supervisors assist the house manager with front-of-house operations on performance days.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a theater, performing arts institution or similar facility preferred.
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience in a customer service-oriented industry.
• Able to maintain a positive attitude.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are welcomed in a kind and friendly manner.
• Address ADA needs.
• Monitor patron flow and audience safety before, during, and after events.
• Be present through performance and exiting of patrons.
• Complete a floor report after each performance for the front of house manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to every guest.
• Collaborate with volunteers and other departments to meet goals.
• Schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Arrive two hours before call time.
• Coordinate ushers and assign positions, breaks, and equipment.
• Keep the house manager informed of urgent situations.
• Ensure Center's core values are adhered to.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
