Job summary

The Toledo Zoo is seeking a Leader Front of House Catering (Part-time) to supervise food service operations, train staff, and oversee event setup and service. You will coordinate daily activities, monitor inventory, and ensure sanitation standards are met.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors and clock in for weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of supervision in food service, strong customer service, and the capacity to multi-task under limited

Qualifications

18+ years of age
1–2 years in food service supervision or equivalent training/experience
Ability to follow directions, work independently and multitask
Strong customer service and communication skills are a plus
Must be able to stand outdoors for several hours and work on your feet
Drug-free workplace, including marijuana; valid driver’s license and Zo o fleet insurance

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate activities and operations of food service areas.
Supervise Food Service Associates during preparation and service of food.
Assist in training and motivating staff; develop training and recognition programs.
Lead setup and execution of daily and future events; monitor inventory and sanitation.
