Job summary

Food Lion is hiring a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service and support customer service standards. You will assist the Customer Service Manager in maintaining standards and maximizing sales through excellent service.

You will greet customers, handle cash and register duties, and keep the front end area neat. You’ll learn store procedures and assist with the MVP savings center KIOSK, plus other duties as assigned, while wearing the Food Lion uniform.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet customers and use their name whenever possible.
• Maintain neat, clean front end area and office presentation.
• Handle cash, register functions and related accounting tasks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
